Swim suit shopping can be a little daunting, between the endless selection and the fluorescent lighting, shopping for your next perfect suit can leaving you feeling less than fabulous.
Check out this trend board to help give you some direction before you venture into the stores for that necessary but dreaded task.
Here are some tips to make the day more fun, it is shopping after all:
1. Buy one of those spray on tanners from the drug store just to help you fight off that oh so harsh overhead lighting. $12.49 at CVS

2. Avoid eating gluten for at least two days leading up to shopping day and double up on some of the anti-bloat foods on this list: oranges & watermelon, yogurt, garlic, oatmeal, strawberries, blueberries, grapefruit, broth-based soup, lettuce, spinach, peppermint, ginger, chili peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, cucumbers, and pineapple.
3. Wear the right under garments so you can get a real idea of what the bathing suit looks like on. Of course nothing to small, you need to protect yourself, but think Body by Victoria.
4. If you think you have found a good one, take a venture out of your fitting room to check the big mirror. This also accomplishes our "Unsure? Take it outside rule." You are going to be wearing it in public right? Better make sure you feel comfy outside the confines of a 5'x5' fitting room.
5. Be confident. You know you are gorgeous, you are exactly as you should be.
Go. Shop. Become a more stylish you.

gingerbreadmanne ♥: 5 minutes nail polish removal tutorial
Not my method but I did try it out last night and it is fantastic! I do not think it is necessary to got through the whole process of unrolling the cotton ball and instead jut tore off pieces as I went which seemed to work just fine. Got through all 4th of July gel covered toenails with just one cotton ball!
gingerbreadmanne ♥: 5 minutes nail polish removal tutorial: Disclaimer: I am definitely recommending this method. I do not claim this as my own. I learnt it from Deborah Lippmann so I'll recognize her...

ASL Image Consulting's Guide to Mixing Prints
Below is a cool post from ASL Image Consulting on how to best mix prints...
I adore prints and find them to be even more exciting when mixed
with other prints. It can be a challenge to get the mix right, so here is a
quick guide on how you can achieve the look with out any mix-ups.
Rules:
- Pick two prints
with the same or similar color schemes
- Do not mix two
of the same kind of prints ie. 2 floral prints do not go together
- Wear a neutral
color shoe or a solid color shoe to help balance the prints
- Keep the scale
of the prints somewhat similar
- Do not be
afraid to step out of the box and try something new
